IJR is excited to announce that it has been acquired by NextFund Voices where it will remain an independent standalone entity.
NextFund Voices” is a subsidiary media fund of NextFund. NextFund & “NextFund Voices” will not directly have any editorial input and these will be completely independent of any platform investments of Nextfund.
NextFund Voices will empower the teams and forge partnerships with the best companies in the space to ensure the maximization of the influence and continued integrity and impact of it’s brands moving forward. The goal of the Voices fund and ongoing media investments is to empower unique individual voices and world-class media brands to ensure an open and civil dialogue is maintained in order to protect the democratic nature of the society we live in for centuries to come.
At NextFund Voices, IJR will be able to leverage the power of the OTT and advertising tools that the NextFund has pioneered to drive new growth and resources to its mission of helping our readers Experience the News.
IJR’s Executive Director, Alex Skatell, will be stepping down from his role in the company as part of the acquisition. Over the coming months, new experiences powered through NextFund’s family of products will be announced.
